Rolling Stones fined £200k for exceeding time limit at O2 show

Legendary rockers Rolling Stones have been slapped with a fine of 200,000 pounds after their ’50 and Counting’ concert in London exceeded the time limit by 35 minutes.

The Rolling Stones performed at the O2 Arena in the city on Sunday to rave reviews, it was the first of five concerts to mark the 50th anniversary of the British rock band, reported Contact music.

While the show was supposed to end at 10.30pm, the demand of 20,000 screaming fans for more songs from the greats – Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts – meant the show went on past the time limit, violating local council rules.
