Following a night full of train rides back to the midlands to surprise my best friend with my face at her front door, the conversation soon turned to the love lives of her two little sisters.
Naming no names, one sibling revealed that she had developed a massive crush on a boy from her theatre class, and asked her sister and I for advice on how to get him to know who she was.
Instantly this blast from the past came back into my mind, reminding me of the time I once had an innocent crush on a boy from my school. Ah, to be thirteen again! He did finally find out my name, unfortunately it was when i fell over face first in assembly though, not when i called him to tell him I always used cream and milk in his hot chocolate.
Perhaps when Alicia is done promoting her new app, she could take some time to develop an agony aunt app for teenage girls.
