Tinchy Stryder: ‘In the music industry there are always down times and politics’

I always say that every album I put out, you get to know me more. I open up a bit more. A couple of things I may not have said before, I’m starting to say. But I’m excited by it and I always think if your own music doesn’t excite you then there’s no point releasing it.

From the outside looking in everything looks perfect and crystal clear but it’s not. In the music industry there are always down times and politics. Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful for everything, but there’s some stuff which annoys you.
