The Saturdays have signed a new US record deal as the girl band hopes to break through Stateside.
The group’s website confirmed that they had penned a new contract with Island Def Jam and Mercury Records.
“We’d like to give a big shout out to our new American record label for making us feel so welcome,” a statement said.
“Island Def Jam and Mercury Records: we’ve always respected you, so thanks for getting on board the Sats ship.”
The band also confirmed they were trying hard to crack America.
“Thanks ever so much for your patience, whilst we’ve been working hard in the studio across the pond.
“We cannot wait for you to hear our new beats.”
Earlier this year The Saturdays moved out to California to film scenes for their reality TV show, a fly-on-the-wall documentary about their attempt to find fame in America.
The band formed in 2007 and their debut single in 2008, If This Is Love, gave them their first top 10 hit.
For any new music released in the UK the singers are still signed to Polydor.
