Amaru Don TV recently sat down with Charlee Drew to discuss his new EP, “You did me a favour” (Out now). Charlee’s notable credits include producing, writing and featuring on Skepta’s UK top 20 album “Doin’ It Again”, musically directing Skepta’s two sold out Academy tours and performing alongside him at Glastonbury, Radio 1′s live lounge & MTV.
Charlee Drew started working on his debut album earlier this year. As an accomplished musician with a strong knowledge of production behind him, incorporating live instruments and soulful harmonies into his music is important whilst still gearing his songs to a broad audience.
The title track “You Did Me A Favour” was written with producers Matt Marston & Rob wells, whose credits include Justin Bieber, Paloma Faith & Clement Marfo’s Olympic themed anthem “Champion”.
