Throwback Thursday: Track Of The Week

It’s that time of the week again. That moment when I take you all back to the past, make you relive a few memories and then let sweet reality come back to you when you question yourself, “Was it really that long ago?”. This week I shall be taking it back, not as far as previous posts, but enough years ago for it to be acceptable if you call it ‘the good old days’.

Kanye West, the 2007 edition. An established rapper and producer. An infamous, outspoken visionary, thanks to that moment when he declared his thoughts on the President of the time, George.W Bush. And on top of that, the year prior to one of his best solo album releases (debatable) of all time, 808′s and Heartbreak.

Why Kanye? You may be asking. Well, despite the fact I have supported his musical journey since primary school, (i’m now in my last year of college) he has been in recent headlines (can’t remember the last time he wasn’t though, in all honesty) thanks to his most recent project: Cruel Summer. The debut album from his camp, G.O.O.D. Music, which is now available to buy. But if you are unsure about it still, take a read of my review by clicking here.

But enough about my reasoning behind this weeks choice, because if I had to choose any week to not explain myself for my decisions, it should most probably be when i’m referring to Kanye West. Right?

So sit back, relax and remember this:
