Pop star Rita Ora has gone back to her roots for her latest video by filming the promo in her native Kosovo over the weekend (08-09Sep12).
The singer left Los Angeles after the Mtv Video Music Awards on Thursday (06Sep12) to shoot scenes for Shine Ya Light in Pristina, where she was born in 1990.
A tearful Rita Ora was overcome with emotion when she visited her hometown of Pristina, Kosovo, to shoot the music video for her next UK single ‘Shine Ya Light’.The blonde bombshell was treated to a heartwarming welcome as hordes of fans gathered around to give her lots of cheers. During the shoot, she was seen on the back of a motorcycle in thigh high boots
Ora, who moved to the U.K. with her family when she was still an infant, took to Twitter.com to share her excitement as she filmed her own stunts riding on the back of a motorcycle and hanging off the side of a Land Rover.
She writes, “I’m in Kosovo!!! This is unbelievable. Best video shoot I’ve ever been on! Let’s do this!”
