Plan B is back with new single ‘ilLL Manors’
And Plan B’s back in the game… After spending much of 2011 off the radar, the ‘She Said‘ singer has returned and this time he’s back to claim his UK hip hop crown. His new single ‘ ilLL Manors‘, due for release in a couple of months’ time, sees the rapper-come-singer do what he does best: grimey, dirty hip hop that tells a story. After all, Ben Drew – as he is rarely known – is a double threat (I’d say triple, but I’m yet to see him dance his socks off) and it comes as no surprise then that the new track will be accompanied by a short film of the same name produced by the multi-talented artist.
Back to the matter in hand though; Plan B’s latest offering… For those who know Plan for the soulful croons of The Defamation of Strickland Banks, it may come as a bit of a shock, but he’s in fine form and ‘ilLL Manors’ is ferocious; thematically political, musically rich in its punch of drums and beats, bordering on dub step at times and confirms that he’s most definitely back, and better than ever…
